Bugatti

Bugatti was founded in France as a manufacturer of high performance automobiles by Ettore Buggatti, an Italian man described as an eccentric genius. The original company is legendary for producing some of the most exclusive cars in the world as well as some of the fastest. The original Bugatti brand failed with the coming of World War II, like many high-end marques of the time. The death of Ettore’s son Jean was also a contributory factor. The company struggled financially into the 1960s eventually being purchased for its airplane parts business. Today the name is owned by Volkswagon Eg who have revived it as a builder of very limited production sport car.

Maybach

Maybach has historic roots through the involvement of Wilhelm Maybach, who was the technical director of the Daimler. The company originally developed and manufactured diesel and gas engines for Zepplins and then rail cars. The company first built an experimental car in 1919, with the first production model introduced two years later at the Berlin Motor Show. Between 1921 and 1940, the company produced various classic opulent vehicles. The company also continued to build heavy duty diesel engines for marine and rail purposes.

Mercedes Benz

Mercedes was a brand of the DMG which began to develop in 1900, after the death of its co-founder, Damiler. Although the name was not lodged as a trade name until June 23, 1902. and had to wait until September 26 to be registered legally, the brand name eventually would be applied to an automobile model built by Mr. Maybach to specifications by Daimler Benz that was delivered to him on December 22, 1909. By Jellinek’s contract, the new model contained a newly designed engine designated as, Daimler-Mercedes. This engine name is the first instance of the use of the name, Mercedes, by DMG. The automobile model would later be called, the Mercedes B 35 HP

In the late 1970s, Lamborghini and BMW decided to build a production racing car in sufficient quantity for the public. The result was sold to the public, from 1978 to 1981, as the BMW M1. Dino

Dino was the first rear wheeled Ferrai. The Dino was meant to be a low cost sports car. The Dino was made after Ferrai’s own son, Alfredo S. Dino. The car was Alfredo’s first designed car. Later on that year it was produced, Alfredo died in the car named after him. The Dino is known as the 70′s most extravagent sports car.

Classic Cars. They our what made our past. From muscle cars to extravagent luxury cars. We seen everything, from cars with 3 wheels to cars with scissor doors. One of the nicest classic cars is the Mercedes-Benz 300 sl Gullwing. It had a 6 cylinder engine that could produce a whopping 105 HP. It was one of the first fuel-injection cars. Its top speed is 134 MPH. It is truely a spectacular car.
